A detailed breakdown of how we structure invoices and what each line item means.
An invoice should be clear, transparent, and easy to understand — never a source of confusion or dispute. We have designed our invoicing to be as straightforward as possible, with every charge explained and no hidden fees. This guide walks you through how our invoices are structured so you always know exactly what you are paying for.
Every invoice we issue includes our company details (Dream Hunter Designs Pty Ltd, registration number 2019/003572/07, VAT number where applicable), your business details, a unique invoice number, the invoice date, and the due date. The reference information is what makes the invoice traceable — keep the invoice number on any payment you make so we can allocate it correctly and issue a receipt without delay.
Most of our projects are invoiced in stages rather than as a single payment at completion. A typical structure is a 50% deposit to commence work, a 30% milestone payment at an agreed stage (often design approval), and a 20% final payment on launch. This spreads your cash flow, ties payments to progress, and ensures neither party carries disproportionate risk. Larger projects may have more milestone payments; smaller projects may be simpler.
If you believe an invoice contains an error — a charge you did not authorise, a calculation mistake, or a missing credit — please contact us immediately. We would rather pause and resolve a query than push through an incorrect invoice. Queries raised within seven days of invoice date are resolved at no cost and with no impact on the project timeline. Honesty works both ways, and we treat every query seriously.
Transparency is a core value at Dream Hunter Designs. If you ever have a question about an invoice — what a line means, why a charge appears, or how a total was calculated — just ask. Our finance team is reachable on the same email and phone as the rest of our business, and we will always take the time to make sure you understand exactly what you are paying for.
